Korean-style apartment

In Korea, apartments are both living spaces and investment products.

In Korea, 63% of the land is forest. To use this limited space most efficiently, they thought a lot. Apartments are buildings stacked high on small areas, and they plan from the start to include water, electricity, and gas, and to use railways and roads. Around them, there are shops, schools, libraries, hospitals, police, fire stations, and government offices. People gather to live in the city, send their kids to school, and use trains and cars to get to work. Of course, there are apartments and small houses in nearby villages away from the city. The outskirts aren't as convenient as the city, but since roads are well-maintained, you can use a car to access city facilities.

Apartments located in Seoul and key cities are very expensive, and their prices have risen even more with the money released after COVID. Because of this, the burden on the younger generation has increased, leading to delayed marriages and lower birth rates.

Besides apartments, there are also single houses or small-scale townhouses. But because of convenience and asset value, apartments are very popular.
