It's a guide, not an evil spirit.
It's shown as a tall man wearing a black robe and hat, but living people can't see it. It's scary because it announces death, but the fluttering robe gives it a charming, mysterious vibe that Lion Boys capture well.
The energy male idol singers give off when they dance and sing is super powerful. Sometimes it's so strong that fans faint at concerts. I fell for the different but strong charm of the Lion Boys members.
